Wellcome Manor Family Services (WMFS) is a substance abuse treatment center for women and their children. A women's recovery place where your children can stay with you.

WMFS offers a residential, primary care recovery program that will provide the following: a safe haven for women to get and stay clean and sober, group and individual treatment sessions for substance abuse. We have bed availability for 30 women and 35 children, Halfway house and life skills classes such as: parenting, GED preparation, financial responsibility, nutrition and wellness, resume writing and job skills, on-site daycare center and referral services to other mental and physical health professionals when needed.

 

WMFS is licensed by the State of MN under Rule 31 and Rule 3. We have a host county contract in place with Blue Earth County. WMFS is located in Garden City, MN, which is approximately 10 miles south of Mankato, MN. The building that houses WMFS used to be the Wellcome Memorial High School and has been renovated to fit the needs of the center and its clients. This renovation has been a costly one at just over 2 million privately-funded dollars. WMFS is seeking funds to offset the construction costs as well as provide funds to cover first year operational costs.
