Attention Alumni!!

WMFS will be having their annual Alumni gathering on Saturday August 11th. This is the same weekend as Hope Fest which is an NA camping event at Shady Oaks Campground in Garden City…sounds like a great weekend plan, don’t ya think?! Email me if we do not have your current contact info so we can send you an invitation with all the info.

Run for Recovery

On July 28th WMFS will be holding their annual 5k – Fun Run/Walk. The fee is $20.00 and all the money raised will benefit WMFS clients and children. A free T-shirt will be given to all participants. Anyone interested should contact me for registration info. The 5k will take place right at WMFS.

I am sooo excited that you actually got something like this going. I think it is a wonderful idea! I know the girls I am still in contact with from my stay are all soo supportive and helpful to eachother and having a place to go to when I am unable to find support here could be life saving.

So here it is I am 6 days shy of 1 year of sobriety can you friggen believe it. Im trying to take it one day at a time but I am just sooo excited to get over that first year mark I can barely handle it. I plan on attending Gopher state memorial weekend and anyone who would like to go with me should let me know. I dont live very far from the hotel it will be at. It is a great time ladies. It lasts all weekend long there are meetings all day and all night. the ENTIRE hotel is taken over my fellow people in recovery. Its a good way to get out and enjoy yourself clean and sober. Let me know if you want to go with me.

Also just want to say thank you to again to everyone at welcome and the women as well. LOVE YOU ALL

In response, Wellcome Manor has developed a program that specifically addresses this matter. The entire family can be invested in the process of change. Family programming coupled with individualized treatment specifically structured for women can be the foundation for rebuilding a healthy family relationship be it with parents, spouses, siblings, significant others or children.
